JAMB registration 2024 UTME/DE has started. This article contains all the necessary information for the JAMB registration 2024.

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the commencement of the 2024 JAMB registration exercise for 2024 UTME/DE candidates. This process is very important for many aspiring Nigerian university students and as such, it is very important to take note the step by step process involved to avoid making mistakes, the eligibility criteria or requirements, registration process and key dates.

The registration commences on Monday, 15th January and ends February 26th, 2024. The registration process runs for about 6 weeks. The direct entry form sales is starting February 28th and will end March 21st, 2024.

JAMB Registration Requirements 2024

The following are needed in order to proceed with the JAMB registration process;

An active SIM card or mobile number not used by anyone before.
National Identification Number (NIN)
An active email address.
JAMB profile code.
JAMB ePin
O’level result (at least five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry(DE) Requirements

To be qualified for a direct entry application, you must have in addition to your O’level result a university degree/diploma/OND/HND/NAPTEB. Your O’level result must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings.

At the point of registration, you will be asked to present your matriculation number from your previous institution, awarding institution, subject(s) of qualification and institution actually attended.

JAMB Registration Procedures 2024

Create a profile code: The registration of JAMB 2024 is done by first creating a profile code. This can be done by sending your National Identification Number (NIN) to ‘55019’ or ‘66019’ as a text message. It can be done in this format (NIN ‘your 11 digit NIN number’).

The profile code of 10 characters is sent to the candidate’s mobile number initially used in sending the NIN number.
Buying of form: The cost of the form is N6,200 (UTME/DE without mock exam) or N7,700 for candidate interested in taking the JAMB mock exam. This payment can be made through any of this channel; bank deposit, mobile money operator or microfinance banks, online platform or some approved CBT centers. At the point of payment, the candidate will be asked to present his/her profile code. An ePin is then sent to your unique mobile number as text message. This ePin and the profile code is what is used at the JAMB accredited CBT center for registration.
Registration at accredited centers: The registration is done online in any approved JAMB registration centers.
Carefully fill the bio data form that will be provided and make sure you go through all forms at least twice before the final submission.

JAMB Examination Date 2024

The JAMB examination dates for UTME candidates begins 19th April and ends 29th April, 2024. Candidates are advice to take note of their scheduled date and follow all JAMB regulations and exam guidelines.

Note to all candidates: Your phone number becomes your unique identification throughout the entire processes with the board, be sure not to misplace it.
You can not register more than once. In situations were there’s error either in name or any other thing, seek to make correction through the board. DO NOT TRY TO REAPPLY.
